I just love your unusual poses here -- they are very well done! My favorite detail has to be the roasting fish -- fabulous!!

My single favorite part of this is probably the very graceful flow of Whitebraid's hair; I just love her figure, it's so pleasing! I also like Feather's leaning-down posture (which is hard to do!). But overall, this has so many great aspects to it -- the details of the cooking, and the handling of the light from the fire. Great job!

They definitely look comfortable cooking together - though I'm always struck by images of our Wolfrider's cooking, as I usually imagine them eating things raw. It's where art is good for helping my imagination to stretch and include even more. Feather's pose, and something about her in general, made me think of Moonshade.

These are both very unique-looking ladies, and I love how at ease they look with the task at hand. Your depiction of the cooking area is very realistic - kind of makes me hungry!

Huh--thought I commented on this. This is a great illustration for the world of River Twine. I think we should have a reference section where the art shows a life routine sort of thing. Very believable and has a 'home cookin' kind of feel to it.

I love your use of soft colors in this picture - and the way each is so intent on their job of preparing dinner.

This is wonderful Peggy. You did such a GREAT job here. I love the feel of mutual, comfortable and busy silence. They look really contented doing their work here.

I love the layout here and the colors. The feel of this picture just got me instantly :D The ladies here look lovely. I also like Whitebraid here and it's great to see more of the ancestors altogether.

And kudos for the choose of the meal. Hmmm.. getting hungry :D

I do really like this piece and I already mentioned that it felt light and balanced. Just enough detail and a gentle use of color. Its refreshing to look at, and I really like how natural the elves look. Whitebraid is especially lovely.
